Some of us were at Pavilions on Woodruff and South in Lakewood crossing the picket lines. We bought some root beer and bananas. Eric yelled out "Communist!" That riled up one of the strikers with les than an average IQ, which isn't saying much. They exchanged comments for about two minutes or so. Just as we decided to call it a night a cop rolls up and asks us what were doing. We told him just hanging out. He asked if we were drinking beer. Root beer we told him. He took, Eric, Michael Hunt, and my name. After telling Eric that if he ever snuck behind a cop anymore he would get hurt, (Eric laughed) that we could go. A little side note, he kept looking in the back seat of my car. I forgot that my knife was lying out. Oops...

I was on the 'John and Ken" show today. I showed up at one of their remote shows with my anti-union sign and ken noticed it. I was inthe front row so that wasn't a big surprise. John interviewed me for about five minutes. I talked to one of thier guys after and am trying to get that show on tape. I will post the audio clips ASAP. DOWN WITH UNIONS!

Physicists smash internet speed record
Last Updated Fri, 17 Oct 2003 17:10:49
GENEVA - Researchers have more than doubled the world speed record for internet data transfer. Scientists at the CERN particle physics laboratory in Switzerland sent the equivalent of a full-length DVD movie in about seven seconds. Colleagues at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) received the data. The land record was set on Oct. 1 by transferring 1.1 terabytes of data over a 7,000-kilometre link in less than 30 minutes, the team said.
