I saw "The Passion of the Christ" today. It is a brutal showing of the last twelve hours of Christ life. It's hard to watch sometimes. I had to tell my self to keep watching. Mel Gibson keeps the camera on when other directors would cut to shots of crowd reaction. The beating and crucifixion of Jesus is shown with every whip stroke. The movie his filled with flash backs when Jesus thinks back when events remind of similar events in his past. In the end you feel the relief and joy of Jesus making the trek that he did. This showed how Jesus really struggled with his calling to the cross. I would recommend it, but it is brutal.
